So now I'm in Dallas Fort Worth. Since this is basically representative of all of Texas, how many miles between gates?

It’s a huge motherfucking airport.
I had to run across a terminal at DFW to make a connection once. As I was running, they were calling my name on the overhead PA and the gate agent called my cell phone.
I made it, but I nearly stroked out :)

Many miles (and not much to do in the terminal buildings, since they were designed to get you in and out quickly.)
I suggest riding the train for fun.

There's a yoga area between two terminals somewhere - B and D, maybe? Otherwise I suggest eating.

I have this deep hatred of DFW. Mainly cause it’s like always affected by weather and the one time it wasn’t, it took off and there were like three free falls during the initial climb and since then I hate DFW and American Airlines even though it’s neither of their faults.

It is huge and the distances might be miles. But the Skylink makes it super quick to get around. I’m in DFW all the time because I’m an AA guy so basically I fly SAT to DFW then wherever I’m going. I make 45 minute connections at different terminals routinely. Trust the Skylink.

I got lost on the SkyLink one time. That’s how big the damn airport is.

Jesus. DFW was a god-send when I went through there. We had just spent 15 hours at Indianapolis. We had a transfer at DFW on the way to Tulsa and it was on-time and we were off the ground about an hour after originally landing from IND.

Better than Southwest’s dogfight maneuvers during the ascent.

How was the trip?

Ugh I hate DFW. My wife’s flight was grounded as well for weather and now I get to stay up till 2:30am to pick her up.

That's why you get a shuttle. My flight arrives at 2:05 AM.

My legs looked like hairy sausages on the beach, so I’d say it was pretty okay.

And this is why the Mrs. prefers to fly into Love Field when she goes to Dallas.

Pappositos Tex - Mex has some baller fajitas. They’re like $26, but the one I had was fucking amazing.

Im pretty sure you could get on the rapid transit in DFW and get off in Austin its so big and also your connecting gates are guarenteed to be as far apart as humanly possible.

Southwest is fantastic out of Nashville but do not get me started on American... less then 24 hours after Southwests entire system crashed I was delayed an hour and that was the only delay on the way to Denver and back. Meanwhile American delayed me a total of 4 hours to and from Dallas! Their freaking hub! Its embarrassing!

Take the train. It gives you an awesome view of the airplanes.

The train was pretty legit.

Whenever I fly through DFW, I always book my flights with extra time between just so I can take a few laps on the train. It’s awesome.

It makes me so angry and yet I love it. Such a weird thing.
